The WAIS-IV (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition) is an individually administered assessment tool designed to evaluate intelligence and general cognitive functioning in adults aged 16–91.
It is the most fundamental and widely used psychometric battery worldwide for assessing the cognitive abilities of children in this age group, and it has also been standardized and adapted to the Greek language since 2014.
The scale consists of 15 subtests, of which the first 10 are the Basic Subtests and the remaining 5 are the Supplementary Subtests. Together, they measure General Intelligence as well as four specific aspects of it (Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, Working Memory, and Processing Speed).
The CHC (Cattell–Horn–Carroll) theory forms the basis for the development of the AAT aptitude tests. It is a scientifically validated approach that has proven effective in analyzing cognitive abilities. The results obtained from these tests contribute significantly to the development and management of human resources.
The CHC theory posits that cognitive abilities are divided into three categories: broad abilities (e.g., intelligence, memory), narrow abilities (e.g., linguistic abilities, spatial abilities), and specific abilities (e.g., reading comprehension, math problem-solving)

Our WAIS-IVGR training consists of two parts:
The first part consists of an 18-hour training course covering the following key areas of the Psychometric Scale:
- An Introduction to Psychometric Assessments of Intelligence
- Summary of the Psychometric Data for the WAIS-IVGR
- A detailed presentation of each of the 15 subtests of the test, covering their administration and the scoring of their components
- Training in the Interpretation of Psychometric Results (completing the Recording Form while simultaneously explaining all the result recording tables found in the Appendices of the Administration and Scoring Manual)
- Assessment and Interpretation of Psychometric Results, with a Complete Documentation of the Methods Used in Their Analysis
- Detailed Guidelines on the Preparation of the Psychometric Report
- A Reference to the Theoretical Background of the Scale
- Presentation of detailed examples of test protocols
In the second part, trainees are given the opportunity to work directly with the psychometric tool, either at the ISON Psychometrica offices, or using their own test, and the trainer is available to provide ongoing support and feedback regarding any questions or concerns they may have about administering the tool and analyzing its psychometric results.
The training is accompanied by a wealth of reference materials, specialized articles, and a bibliography covering all the items listed on the Scale.

WISC-V GR | Intelligence Scale for Children & Adolescents & Education in the Classic Abilities Battery (CAB)
The specialized training program “Advanced Cognitive Suite: School Age & Adolescents Edition” is a comprehensive training course designed for professionals who wish to enhance their skills in the field of psychometric assessment and cognitive mapping of children and adolescents.
The program combines in-depth theoretical study with the practical application of the most valid and up-to-date diagnostic tools, providing participants with the necessary skills for a comprehensive and reliable assessment.
The WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition) is an individually administered assessment tool designed to evaluate intelligence and general cognitive functioning in children and adolescents ages 6–17.
It is the most fundamental and widely used psychometric battery worldwide for assessing the cognitive abilities of children in these age groups, and it has also been standardized and adapted to the Greek language since December 2017.
The Scale consists of 15 subtests, the first 10 of which are the Basic Subtests and the remaining 5 are the Supplementary Subtests. Together, they measure General Intelligence as well as, at the level of Primary Indicators, five specific aspects of it (Verbal Comprehension, Visuo-spatial Perception, Fluent Reasoning, Working Memory, and Processing Speed). At the level of auxiliary indicators, they measure five additional aspects of the examinee’s cognitive profile (Quantitative Reasoning, Auditory Working Memory, Nonverbal Ability, General Ability, and Cognitive Competence).
The CHC theory posits that cognitive abilities are divided into three categories: broad abilities (e.g., intelligence, memory), narrow abilities (e.g., linguistic abilities, spatial abilities), and specific abilities (e.g., reading comprehension, math problem-solving)
The Classic Abilities Battery (CAB)is one of the three categories of tests included in ISON Psychometrica’se-mellonorientation program. The CAB battery measures the test-taker’s innate ability to perform basic functions required in professional life, while also helping to identify their aptitudes and the areas in which they are most effective and succeed with greater ease.

The Advanced Cognitive Suite: Early Childhood Edition was designed to provide mental health and special education professionals with the most up-to-date, reliable, and standardized tools for a comprehensive understanding of the cognitive profiles of infants and preschool-aged children.
The WPPSI-III (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence, Third Edition) is an individually administered assessment tool designed to evaluate intelligence and general cognitive functioning in children aged from
2 years and 6 months to 7 years and 4 months.
It is the most fundamental and widely used psychometric battery worldwide for assessing the cognitive abilities of children in this age group, and it has also been standardized and adapted to the Greek language since 2014.
The scale consists of 14 subtests, 7 of which are core subtests and the remaining 7 are supplementary subtests. Together, they measure General Intelligence as well as four specific aspects of it (Verbal Intelligence, Practical Intelligence, Processing Speed, and General Language Ability).

- Assessment and Interpretation of Psychometric Results, with a Complete Documentation of the Methods Used in Their Analysis
