Course Objectives:

Understanding of basic concepts of Psychometrics and Personality Profiling:

Participants will become familiar with personality theories, psychometric methods and statistical concepts related to assessment (e.g., validity, reliability), understanding their importance in both scientific and professional settings.

Knowledge of the Tools:

Familiarization with various psychometric tools (ISON) used for the analysis of personality, values, motivation, cognitive abilities, work climate, psychopathology, etc. Participants will learn how to use these tools in different contexts such as research, counselling, clinical practice and human resource development.

Practical Applications:

Understanding how psychometrics and Personality Profiling can be used in various fields, such as HR selection and development, counselling and therapy, team dynamics and conflict resolution.

Ethics and Fair Use:

Familiarisation with ethical principles and best practices for the use of psychometric tools, ensuring the validity and reliability of results, the protection of personal data, and the avoidance of discriminatory or biased decisions.

  • Understanding of various psychometric tools and personality profiling techniques.
  • Selecting the appropriate tools according to the needs of the situation, whether it is for professional assessment, clinical use, psychotherapy, research or personal development.
  • Good implementation practices to ensure reliable and valid results.

  • Reading and understanding data from psychometric assessments.
  • Correct interpretation of results, taking into account the limits and limitations of each tool.
  • Analysis of results in different contexts (workplace, therapeutic, counselling, research, educational, clinical).

  • Drafting clear and comprehensible evaluation reports.

  • Apply the principles of ethics and professional conduct in the use of psychometric tools, ensuring the validity, reliability and protection of personal data.
  • Analyse the requirements of a job and determine the appropriate selection criteria.
  • Select the appropriate psychometric tools and techniques for assessing candidates.
  • Evaluate candidates based on the results of assessments and predict their potential career success.
  • Make informed decisions on the recruitment of staff.
  • Assess the training and development needs of employees.
  • Design and implement training and development programmes that meet the needs of employees and the company.
  • Provide personalised coaching to employees based on their personality profiles.
  • They manage talent within the organisation, recognising the potential of employees.
  • Create effective working groups, taking into account the team dynamics and personality profiles of the members.
  • Manage conflicts and improve communication and cooperation between employees.
