Training in the Use and Interpretation of the MMPI-2
The
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory®-2) is the most widely used and most extensively studied tool for assessing adult psychopathology in the world.
There are currently over 250 book titles about the test available on Amazon.com, while the University of Minnesota provides a bibliography of over 160 pages listing articles that reference it.
The MMPI®-2 features 120 scales and subscales, as well as 8 additional specific validity scales, to reliably assess the examinee’s honesty.
It is widely used for rapid, accurate, and low-cost clinical diagnoses; to identify critical personality traits in the evaluation and selection of personnel for key positions; and in court as a means of evidence.
