Return to the workplace:
What motivates workers in the post-covid era?

Insights
Ideal working days per week
As revealed by the survey conducted by ISON in collaboration with Boyden in September-October, employees, contrary to expectations, do not demand full teleworking, but on the contrary, present different needs and preferences based on
days spent in the workplace at present.
Employees capture their ideal work environment through
their current work situation, versus an idealised, unrealistic one. In particular, they desire to work at the employer's site one or two days less than they actually work.
This shows the ideal working days (coloured columns) in relation to the actual working days at the workplace.

44,3%

What motivates workers?
Of similar interest is the hierarchy of Values and
motives, with the results surprising and upsetting
stereotypical perceptions and assumptions in the workplace.
Such an example is the emergence of Mental and Physical Health Actions as a more important motivator than Voucher Provision
supermarket vouchers, a typical and frequently used corporate practice
to reward and motivate employees.
The findings of the survey
not only shed light on how employees perceive their place in the world of work, but also provide a unique perspective on the values and motivations that, in the right combination, can be success factors in creating a more attractive and conscious work environment.
Research Framework
The advent of COVID-19 was a turning point for all parts of human life, including work.
The exponential growth of telecommuting and hybrid work created an immediate need for us to research and understand what this change means for the worker.
ISON Psychometrica and Boyden Greece & Cyprus conducted one of the first surveys in Greece on what motivations and values play a role in employees' return to the workplace.
