ISON Psychometrica – Keyway

A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO CONNECT GUIDANCE SERVICES TO KEY PERFORMANCE AND IMPACT INDICATORS

The aim of the Keyway project funded by the Erasmus+ programme (No 2016-1-ES01-KA201-025515), was to provide all the necessary tools to evaluate the impact of vocational guidance services, to record and improve the quality of these services, key elements which help in the formulation of policies in the field of vocational guidance.

The Keyway project aimed at local guidance decision-makers and stakeholders, guidance professionals and teachers involved in academic and vocational guidance. The Keyway project responded to an international need to develop a methodology based on the systematic and practical collection of Key Performance and Effectiveness Indicators (KPIs).

Keyway was based on the work of ELGPN (European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network) and other academic analyses and initial studies of evidence-based methodologies related to academic and vocational guidance.

Through focus groups the Key Performance and Effectiveness Indicators (KPIs) were recorded and two Intellectual Outputs were created:

A conceptual impact map: a framework with the main dimensions to be assessed.
A guide with the methodology for the application of the Key Performance and Effectiveness Indicators in Vocational Counselling Services – Guide to evaluating the effectiveness of Vocational Counselling
