Enhancing interagency support for victims of sexual violence
About the project
The InSupport project is dedicated to enhance the protection and assistance provided for victims and survivors of sexual violence in Greece.
The project will enhance interagency cooperation through the establishment of an interagency response mechanism and creation of gender-sensitive operational and referral procedures.
In support will provide to victims and survivors:
- Awareness and access to information about their rights
- Increased knowledge on support services available
- Strengthened resilience and well-being
- Development of cooperation protocol to support the establishment and operation of the cooperation/response mechanism and active engagement of the members
- Development of Protocol/SOPs for law-enforcement
- Development of Protocol/SOPs for healthcare services
- Development of Guidelines for setting up rape/ sexual violence referral structures
- Development of capacity building curricula for police staff (and police academies), for health professionals, for psychosocial support staff/professionals
- Development of e-learning platform
- Implementation of capacity building programme for 500 staff of the 14 General Police Directorates, for 700 health professionals, medical & nursing staff of hospitals/clinics, for 120 psychosocial support staff/professionals
- Creation of information mobile app to enable victims of sexual violence to have easy access to information
- Online awareness raising campaign
